Income Tax Sports Quota Vacancy 2026: इनकम टैक्स विभाग, ओडिशा रीजन ने स्पोर्ट्स कोटा के तहत वर्ष 2026 के लिए टैक्स असिस्टेंट, स्टेनोग्राफर ग्रेड-II और मल्टी टास्किंग स्टाफ (MTS) के कुल 12 पदों पर भर्ती का नोटिफिकेशन जारी किया है। इस भर्ती में केवल योग्य और मेरिटोरियस खिलाड़ी ही आवेदन कर सकते हैं, जिन्होंने राष्ट्रीय, अंतरराष्ट्रीय, विश्वविद्यालय या अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिया हो। आवेदन प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह ऑफलाइन रखी गई है और उम्मीदवारों को अपना आवेदन स्पीड पोस्ट या रजिस्टर्ड पोस्ट के माध्यम से निर्धारित पते पर भेजना होगा। टैक्स असिस्टेंट के लिए स्नातक, स्टेनोग्राफर के लिए 12वीं पास तथा MTS पद के लिए 10वीं पास उम्मीदवार आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

How to Apply For Income Tax Department Sports Quota Vacancy 2026
Step Details
Step 1 Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department: Income Tax Department
Step 2 Download the official notification and the prescribed application form (Annexure-II).
Step 3 Fill out the application form carefully in block letters using a blue or black ballpoint pen.
Step 4 Clearly indicate your post preference by marking ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘3’ in order of preference and mark ‘X’ against posts you do not wish to apply for.
Step 5 Attach self-attested copies of all required documents, including educational certificates, age proof, sports certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, PwBD certificate (if applicable), NOC (if employed), and two recent passport-size photographs.
Step 6 Ensure that you have attached at least one valid sports certificate issued in the prescribed format (Form 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, as applicable).
Step 7 Place the completed application form and documents in a sealed envelope and superscribe it with: “Application for appointment of meritorious sportsperson in Income Tax Department, Odisha Region – 2026.”
Step 8 Send the application only through Registered Post or Speed Post to the following address: Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (Hqrs.) (Admn. & Vig.), O/o the Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, 1st Floor, Aayakar Bhawan, Rajaswa Vihar, Bhubaneswar – 751007.
Step 9 Ensure that your application reaches the office by 31 July 2026 (6:00 PM). Candidates from remote areas, including North Eastern States, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and Jammu & Kashmir, can submit their applications up to 10 August 2026 (6:00 PM).
Step 10 Keep a photocopy of the completed application form and the postal receipt for future reference.

Important Points

  • Only one application is allowed per candidate.
  • Applications sent through courier, email, or ordinary post will not be accepted.
  • Sports achievements obtained after 31 March 2026 will not be considered.
  • Incomplete applications or applications without valid sports certificates are liable to be rejected.
  • Candidates applying for Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade-II posts must be prepared for the prescribed skill tests.
